Collage Work 2023 Volume 1

This volume was created between February and June of 2023. The collection comprises of 16 pieces. the collages included cover various themes, such as the brutality of men, man vs nature, love, destiny, among others. Something i consistently found myself battling with was the limitedness of pulp magazine covers. as a medium and source, that limitedness had effects on the direction of pieces and the volume overall. a key difference in my artistic approach to this set of collages was added focus on the composition of my pieces, as well as colour usage and specifically texture. I feel like my art style and process were greatly transformed throughout the making of this collection.
