Saturn's Square (2025)
Saturn's Square is a direct sequel to Saturn's Spiral. The second short film continues where the first left off, and is even more abstract, in my opinion. After rewatching Saturn's Spiral earlier this year, i realized how much it was just a film about my life and the indecisiveness i was feeling at the time. While the first film stood proudly on the collaboration with my friends, this one was all composed by me, from the music to all the filming. It felt very personal this time, the creation of this film, and i had a lot more time and room to work on this one. it became sort of like an abstract glimpse of what the end of 26 through to the middle of 27 was for me. i don't really know what this one means yet, but i'm excited to unwrap it over the next few years.

Saturn's Spiral (2023)
Saturn's Spiral is an experimental short film made in January of 2023. I had 3 weeks and no budget, and with some help from the friends we made along the way, I was able to craft this frankenstein of a film. I'm super proud of it because of the limited timeframe to create a plot, storyboard, film, direct, and then edit. It was a labour of love, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Maybe it makes sense to you, maybe it doesn't. Thankful to everyone who helped make this happen.

horsepower (2024)
horsepower is a short film that takes an abstract look at the long-term impacts of industrialization on the planet. using personal footage as well as archival footage sourced through The Internet Archive, this film explores nature, and how humans have treated it. by juxtaposing and overlaying these images of human activity with and over scenes of the natural world, i wanted to contrast how they (the worlds) differ. the humans seen in the film have their faces obscured, this is to represent the lack of a singular face to attribute anything to, instead they're blank, and could be anyone.
the film uses footage from The Living Planet S1 E12: New Worlds as well as other videos from The Internet Archive.
so you want to be an artist? (2024)
This was made as a reminder to myself about why I chose the artist's way.
